Kitchen Remodeling, March 14, middle of the 5th week
It's beginning to look like a kitchen. Since the last post: backsplash, upper corner cabinet, and the tile.
Next: paneling on the window wall and window trim, and painting of walls (not shown). Also, final electrical and plumbing.

I had Anne look at the photos, and she said, "so French!" I agree, but of course neither Anne or I know a tootle about what makes something french (or Midwest.) I suppose we are responding to the blue tile work on the splash guard, and the black farmhouse kitchen sink ~ things we associate with the Continental look.
